    In the 12th century, the Berber Almohads expanded the Alcazar Palace in Seville, adding a dozen buildings whose walls they embellished with mosaics inspired by Maghreb Zelliges, called "Azulejos" in Spain. The site's gardens are home to more than 20,000 botanical species, mixing local and exotic plants. Symbol of the union between East and West, they emanate a fragrance of citrus fruits and noble wood. The Bluesense fragrance pays homage to these gardens with citrus, woody and spicy notes, as refined and soothing as the place itself.

    Maison Cataliya is a French brand that celebrates the ancestral craftsmanship of ceramic artisans specializing in Zellige.

    By collaborating with them, Maison Cataliya works to preserve and enhance this unique heritage.

    From this artistic encounter, six perfumes were born, each linked to a historic ceramic, telling the stories of these artisans and perfumers who, for millennia, have infused North Africa with colors and scents that are envied and admired around the world.

    The Perfumer

    Born in Florence, Sofia Bardelli grew up surrounded by the intoxicating scents of Tuscan gardens. This early immersion in a world of scents forged her olfactory sensibility. "The fragrances of my childhood were my first source of inspiration", she confides.

    With a degree in pharmacy from the University of Pavia and then training at the prestigious ISIPCA school in Versailles, Sofia Bardelli quickly demonstrated a talent for marrying the noblest essences and creating original accords.

    Her creative process is a subtle blend of storytelling and technical know-how. Discreet, she prefers to let her creations speak for themselves, treating each new fragrance as a work in its own right. "A perfume is a story that you carry with you".
