The Fragrance

Alchemy with Alchermes liqueur, Elixir of seduction. A peach form pastry, red, orange or red-green with gourmand ambery brown cream. It contains Alchermes liqueur from Tuscany. It has been used in gourmet pastry masterpieces like Tuscan Pesche Dolci, in central Italy, with Arab origin. The Spanish introduced it to Italy. In Florence it was known as an elixir of life due to the medicinal aromatic plants and red animal content. The ingredients of the liqueur are concentrated in Alchermes as a spicy fougère rather than in the liqueur itself. The little red animal content incarnated by amber, the fresh red Tuscan leather and red saffron. 

The De Gabor Extraits de Parfum are housed in a hand-polished bottle, to which the gold lettering gives a real impression of high quality. From one fragrance to the other, the glass plays with colour refinements, which are also found on the caps enhanced with a touch of gold. As for the sumptuous boxes where the bottles rest on a bed of satin, they make each opening a ceremony.

The Brand

Gabriel Gabor, a seasoned perfumer since 2010, designs bespoke fragrances and hosts exclusive olfactory workshops.

Trained in Grasse, France, his childhood passion for scents led him to become a perfumer. In 2014, he developed a niche fragrance as part of Christian Dior's training programme.

His Oud collection made its debut at Beauty World Middle-East in 2016 and Darling fragrance received acclaim at the World Perfumery Congress.

Gabriel Gabor now creates fragrances for designer brands and for his own label. Launched in 2019, DE GABOR can be found in over 72 luxury shops worldwide, including ROJA DOVE HAUTE PARFUMERIE at Harrods in London.

The Perfumer

Gabriel Gabor was born in Budapest. From an early age, he was fascinated by smells and perfumes. He began to dream of becoming a perfumer, a profession he considered as uncommon as that of an astronaut.

To realize his dream, Gabriel Gabor left his homeland to study chemistry, then perfume creation and composition techniques in Grasse. He distinguished himself by his talent and originality, and graduated as a certified perfumer in 2000.

He went on to make a name for himself with his bold, innovative creations, which won him several awards. In 2019, he decided to launch his own brand of niche perfumes. Through his fragrances, he invites us to explore the invisible, to feel the soul of the world.

Gabriel Gabor has remained true to his explorer's soul, which drives him to constantly discover new horizons. He is, in a way, a perfume astronaut.
