Opening with the invigorating tones of bergamot, lemon and pink pepper, Spice D’Arno evokes the lively energy of a new adventure about to begin. The scent gently meanders its way into a sophisticated heart bursting with thyme and cistus, softened with a comforting and soothing bran absolute. The cistus adds a floral, sweet and woody aspect to the warmth of bran and the leathery savoury aspect of thyme. In the base of Spice D’Arno a ribbon of sweetness comes in the form of excitingly resinous vanilla which is warm and embracing. This is strengthened and supported by a leathery aspect. A discrete yet mighty woody oud facet completes the composition, lending power and weight to the fragrance and ensuring the lasting power to stay the course.

    The Perfumer

    While Céline Barel admits to an early passion for perfume, her background is atypical. After business studies and a Master's degree in International Marketing and Management, she finally found her vocation in perfume creation. 

    In her laboratory, Céline composes like a novelist weaves her stories. For her, “Fragrance must induce synesthesia”. Her vision is of a fragrance that must be strong without necessarily smelling strong, carrying a confidence that reveals the best in everyone. She seeks to “make visible the invisibility” of fragrance, to create compositions that tell “not one story, but many.”
