A warm, inviting note of nutmeg and clove opens Joorie. Lemon and bergamot add a zest of freshness, while traces of ginger and pepper linger languorously.

The heart of the fragrance is a rose infused with fruity notes, ylang-ylang and orange blossom.

The base notes are a beautiful scent of honey enveloped by musk, tonka bean and a woody blend of sandalwood and cedar.

Never mistreated, never mishandled, never abandoned. Joorie is Kajal’s red rose in all its splendour – marvellous and beautiful. "In working on the creation of Joorie, I kept having flashbacks to the farmhouse where my family would go during our summer holidays. There were two acres of land surrounding the little house, fenced with pine trees along the borders. Berries, figs, jasmines, petunias, chamomiles, and lavender were just a few of the many plants that we had growing in the gardens. Most majestic of all was the one rose bush that yielded the most beautiful red flowers, and it was this plant that I would visit on a daily basis – not only to see the sublime velvety red petals and superior elegance of the roses, but also to capture a whiff of the sensual perfume that this rose would so elegantly emit." - Moe Khalaf (Founder & Kajal Creative Officer).

La Marque

L'histoire a commencé en 2012, lorsque deux connaisseurs passionnés de parfums, Ibrahim Faris et Moe Khalaf, unis par une vision commune, ont entrepris de créer Kajal Perfumes Paris. 

Depuis sa création, la marque s'est peu à peu transformée en une équipe véritablement merveilleuse, qui s'est élargie pour former la famille Kajal dont les membres se trouvent désormais aux Émirats arabes unis, au Royaume-Uni, au Canada, en Italie et aux Philippines.

Le Parfumeur

Alix Miral a développé très tôt une passion pour les parfums. Adolescente, sa collection de posters de parfums marque le début de sa véritable vocation. Après des études en chimie à l’Université de Montpellier et l’ISIPCA, elle a commencé sa carrière au Laboratoire Monique Remy à Grasse, avant de rejoindre Chanel à Paris. Là, elle perfectionne son savoir-faire et développe une compréhension approfondie des ingrédients et des compositions olfactives.

Depuis 2001, Alix est une figure clé chez DROM, travaillant à New York et Munich. Aventurière dans l’âme, Alix explore le monde, de safaris en Namibie à des expéditions en canoë en Guyane française. Cette quête d’aventure se reflète dans ses créations. Passionnée d’art et de culture, elle assiste régulièrement à des opéras et des expositions d’art moderne, avec une affection particulière pour Andy Warhol, Yves Klein et Matisse.
