The Fragrance

The inspiration: "Pelagos (Greek for 'sea') is a dynamic composition that evokes the sense of limitless possibilities, inspired by my deeply cherished memories of the Aegean Sea islands. There, gazing at the sky and sea merging in the horizon, I remembered a poem of my father’s exalting the vastness of the human spirit, and felt that anything was possible. The Brand

Parfums Dusita offers fragrances that communicate with various forms of art and creation, starting with the poetry of Montri Umavijani, father of our perfumer, Pissara.

A multi-talented artist herself, Pissara Umavijani not only composes unique, soulful perfumes but also draws illustrations that capture the spirit of her fragrances. 

This passion for fine fragrance begins with her love of classic French perfumery. To that, Dusita brings their own knowledge of the fragrant oils, powders and resins of our Thai heritage.

Their internationally awarded and widely acclaimed fragrances are, furthermore, enriched with Pissara’s boldly creative, contemporary touches, making them both current and timeless.

The Perfumer

Pissara Umavijani grew up in Thailand, in a house filled with books and poetry. A young artist passionate about fragrances, she began to create her own perfumes, mixing rare and precious scents.

She dreamed of opening her own Perfume House, and in 2011, she brought her dreams and creations to Paris. After learning the science of perfumes on her own, she continued to produce her first collection of exclusive fragrances with a large perfume production house in Grasse.

Parfums Dusita was launched in 2016, becoming the newest Maison de Haute Parfumerie in France.

    Pelagos est l'un de ces parfums qui représentent une expérience de vie. Les vacances à la mer, l'insouciance et le plaisir, sentir et capturer les moments vécus. Dans cette composition, vous pourrez apprécier les notes florales, en particulier le jasmin et l'iris, les accords marins, la fève Tonka, le thym et la base enrichie d'ambrette, de vétiver et de bois de santal. Mais il y a bien plus que cela dans cette essence : Amyris, Patchouli, Encens... (...) Il est très durable et offre une projection magnifique. Personnellement, je le porterais toute l'année.
