The Jester is a sunny, joyful perfume that opens with the beauty of summer, rhubarb, lemonade, and sparkly citrus. As the perfume develops, notes of orange blossom, cassis, and light musk give a sense of walking in a garden with lush green grass and white flowers. Patchouli and cedar in the background bring depth and earthiness that evoke the beauty of nature even on a rainy day. If you’ve ever had a cup of blackcurrant tea you know the taste and smell of Cassis. The floral fragrance blends well with other florals like jasmine, rose, and violet. As a top note in perfumery and aromatherapy, it also brings a green note element which pairs perfectly with earthy notes like oakmoss and galbanum. The airy, citrussy and green scent of neroli has an effervescent orange undertone, with a hint of honey, that excites the nose. The name ‘neroli’ comes from a small Italian town near Rome, and a princess who lived there. Neroli’s perfect in white florals, or in perfumes, which accent its citrus edge.

    En ce qui concerne ma propre réaction à ses nouveaux parfums, j'ai trouvé que le fait de porter simultanément The Jester et The Ruler à des poignets opposés me rappelle que lorsque je suis confrontée à des situations qui me tirent trop loin dans une direction ou une autre, je peux, sans abandonner ce que je suis, retrouver l'équilibre en me "penchant" simplement dans l'autre direction jusqu'à ce que je trouve la juste nuance de mon caractère, en même temps que la stabilité dont j'ai besoin.
