The Fragrance

The inspiration: "My quest to sign a rose-dominant perfume has been a rather long one. The smell of roses is so instantly recognisable that it could obscure a perfumer’s striving for individuality. Embracing that, I aimed for a stunning showcase of my own preferred facets of this universally beloved flower. I named the fragrance Rosarine, meaning “queen of roses”.

On another level, the fragrance reflects the journey of pursuing my dreams. It is a token of the first day I visited the majestic Parc de Bagatelle in Paris; there, sitting among the thousands of roses, I promised myself to follow my heart’s desire: become a perfumer.

Rosarine opens with spice-sprinkled Rose, surrounded by delightful notes of just-ripened Raspberry, and thirst-quenching Lychee. The iconic May Rose from Grasse blooms in the fragrance’s heart, embellished by soulful Orris Butter, and smoky Amyris Wood. The roses’ ethereal aspects are enhanced by the vegetal muskiness of Ambrette. My exclusive Gourmand Patchouli Accord defines the base: earthy, chocolatey and a little spicy, it comprises no less than twenty ingredients that include Patchouli, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Cocoa, and Benzoin." – Pissara Umavijani

This passion for fine fragrance begins with her love of classic French perfumery. To that, Dusita brings their own knowledge of the fragrant oils, powders and resins of our Thai heritage.

Their internationally awarded and widely acclaimed fragrances are, furthermore, enriched with Pissara’s boldly creative, contemporary touches, making them both current and timeless.

The Perfumer

Pissara Umavijani grew up in Thailand, in a house filled with books and poetry. A young artist passionate about fragrances, she began to create her own perfumes, mixing rare and precious scents.

She dreamed of opening her own Perfume House, and in 2011, she brought her dreams and creations to Paris. After learning the science of perfumes on her own, she continued to produce her first collection of exclusive fragrances with a large perfume production house in Grasse.

Parfums Dusita was launched in 2016, becoming the newest Maison de Haute Parfumerie in France.
