The Fragrance

The inspiration: "This is a fragrance that celebrates the happiness of each new morning: that magical moment when the first rays of light touch the first dewdrops on the grass, bringing all the freshness of the world to the day that’s about to start. Quietly, this same light beams through the curtains of a bedroom where lovers are slowly waking up. Le Sillage Blanc is a homage to the great classic green leather chypres and their poetic, unique charm; it’s also an expression of my profound love for all those vintage perfumes that I’ve been collecting for years. I based my composition on Galbanum, Oak Moss and Neroli, in a relatively simple, but highly natural mix. In order to provide the fragrance with depth, I used a truly intense Galbanum Resinoid, but handled it in such a way that Le Sillage Blanc remains bright and radiant, like the veritable chypre that it is." – Pissara Umavijani

A multi-talented artist herself, Pissara Umavijani not only composes unique, soulful perfumes but also draws illustrations that capture the spirit of her fragrances. 

This passion for fine fragrance begins with her love of classic French perfumery. To that, Dusita brings their own knowledge of the fragrant oils, powders and resins of our Thai heritage.

Their internationally awarded and widely acclaimed fragrances are, furthermore, enriched with Pissara’s boldly creative, contemporary touches, making them both current and timeless.

The Perfumer

Pissara Umavijani grew up in Thailand, in a house filled with books and poetry. A young artist passionate about fragrances, she began to create her own perfumes, mixing rare and precious scents.

She dreamed of opening her own Perfume House, and in 2011, she brought her dreams and creations to Paris. After learning the science of perfumes on her own, she continued to produce her first collection of exclusive fragrances with a large perfume production house in Grasse.

Parfums Dusita was launched in 2016, becoming the newest Maison de Haute Parfumerie in France.
