The Fragrance

Inspiration: skin-deep, after an incandescent body-to-body encounter in a vibrant, rum-scented atmosphere. Description: A wildly addictive, opulent, sensual and fruity skin of Goji Berries with accents of Blond Deer. A unique alliance with carnal evocations of olive oil and vanilla bean.

The Brand

Under the impulse of Bérénice Cauchois, the brand's co-founder, Elaïo, (ἔλαιον, oil in ancient Greek), reinterprets the perfumery of yesterday with modernity and subtlety.

Elaïo is establishing itself as a new House of alternative perfumery. The brand has made the daring choice of oil for its fragrances, in a world where alcoholic perfumes dominate.

The delicacy of oil offers a more intimate, sensual fragrance experience where fragrance notes warm and exalt themselves in contact with the skin.

The first collection « Peau » was intuitively born from this idea. Five roll-on perfume oils that speak to the intimacy and poetry of the skin, with the common notes of White Musk, true olfactory imprints of the skin.

The Perfumer

Clémentine Humeau is a perfumer who has combined her passions for music, scents and travel.

She discovered her vocation for music at an early age and took up the oboe. She went on to study at the Conservatoire National de Musique de Toulouse and then at the International Conservatory of Music in Amsterdam (Holland), where she obtained her diplomas as a concert oboist and oboe teacher. She has performed all over the world with some of Europe's leading baroque music ensembles.

She then went on to perfect her skills at the International School of Perfumery in Grasse, the world cradle of perfumery. There she learned the secrets of raw materials, accords and olfactory compositions. She then set up her own laboratory and began creating made-to-measure perfumes for individuals and brands. Since 2009, she has devoted herself solely to her craft of perfume creation.
